HTML (TinyMCE) Example 36 Error
« on: February 20, 2012, 05:17:04 PM »
I'm trying Example 36 in the web server and it compiles fine but when I access it with a browser, I get a message saying "error in site java script" and there is no editor on the web page.  The form's text field simply shows the raw html code.

I'm running right out of the example folder and have even copied the web folder from the LibSrc folder into the example folder - no change.

What am I overlooking?

I'm running NetTalk 5.33 on C6.3 and firefox as the browser.

Hi SpringGuy,

Suggest to update to the latest 5.47 and just make sure you have tiny mc turned in scripts on webserwer nettalk extention also check do you have a tiny mce folder in the web folder if not just download latest TinyMCE 3.4.8 jQuery package from http://www.tinymce.com/download/download.php
I use latest tinymce and NT5.47

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't see anything in the NT history to indicate that more recent versions of NT 5 since 5.33 have anything to do with TinyMCE and Example 36.  Is there something that I do not see in the NT upgrade history with regard to TinyMCE?

I am simply trying to see Example 36 operate - no changes - not a different application in which I am trying to get TinyMCE to run - just plain ol' Example 36.  The Example folders contain TinyMCE folders already.  What am I missing?

Any error in the javascript would prevent the example running.
Thus updating to at least the latest NT5 is recommended.

Example 36 seems to be working on my machine in NT5.47.

cheers
