EMail from a form
« on: January 19, 2012, 02:03:42 AM »
Silly question really but ....

On a BROWSE there is the property that the field contains an email or URL. So click on the field and it works.

But how can you do the same on a FORM where the entry field contains an email or URL address? Or do you have to provide a button?

Thanks

John

if you have an entry field that contains a url, you can't follow the URL by clicking on it.
Because clicking on an entry field lets you edit that field - that's what entry fields do.

So, either replicate the field as a display field, or add a button to indicate "follow this link".
