NetWebYear view jumps about
« on: January 08, 2012, 01:26:06 AM »
Using Example 12, and in my app also, if you display 12 months on the screen, say Jan 2012 to Dec 2012 and add an appointment for March 3rd 2012 it works fine other than when you return to the view the calendar has jumped forward a year or thereabouts.

Is there a fix for this?

On another note (Bruce) is there an estimated timescale for multiple appointments per cell? At the moment I am just using a standard Browse to get round this and using the NetWebYear view as a planner display.

Confirmed.  Using the shipped example with no modifications.  You do not have to actually enter anything.  You can click a date and open the form.  Then click cancel.  Calendar jumps around.

Weird.  I hadn't noticed that before.

Agreed - and start date is today()!

So when refreshing the page should go back to today()

Don are you really on build 6.12? this appears to be a regression in 6.13.

Fixed in 6.14
thanks for the report John.

You can already do multiple appointments per cell - but with the month-calendar there is very little space to show lots. (although of course, using Css, you could make each cell bigger.)

Thanks Bruce. But how? You see when you hover over a cell it shows the appointment details but when you click on Insert it edits the same appointment. I think that is what was happening last night.

 :)  No.  I just haven't updated my profile...I'm on 6.13.

hmm - that might lead to problems if you explicitly name a version, and it's wrong. Perhaps put a (maybe) in your profile....

Bruce - you say we can already do multiple appointments but it is not documented. Can you advice briefly how  please?

Thanks
