Prototype.js
« on: January 28, 2008, 06:41:07 PM »
Hello all,

I know that the Rico libraries that NetTalk uses is reliant on Prototype.js ver 1.5 - however, we are starting to use the Script.aculo.us libraries for various effects etc. in our apps now, and the latest version of scriptaculous requires Prototype 1.6 at a minimum.

We are getting around this for now by using a deprecated version of scriptaculous, as I am too nervous about upgrading Prototype and rezipping the javascript files in case I break other dependencies.

Anybody else had experience with upgrading the underlying js framework?

Thanks,
Devan

Hi Devan,

For version 4.31 I'll probably update the underlying libraries.

Cheers
