Putting a checkbox above/below a browse
« on: December 09, 2011, 12:22:50 AM »
Wondering if there is an easy way to do this?

Reason being is that I have one Browse (that can work standalone or be called as a lookup popup) that need to have a user option to 'Show Inactive Products?'.  I was hoping I could place a checkbox field above or below the Browse and link it to a conditional filter...

Possible in NT6?

Hi Devan
The easiest way would be to create a  memory netwebform and put your conditions on that then put the browse on the form.
If you have the Nettalk book from Capesoft checkout Using a Form as the criteria for a browse (Page 74)

Thanks Terry - I will give that a shot.

Can I still use a Form/Browse combo as a Lookup from another form though?  Never tested that.

yes, the lookup can use a "form that contains a browse" in place of a raw browse.

cheers
