NT4.44 - Delete doesn't work if the form is inserted in a static page

I have created a simple form which I attach to the browse. With it I can add, change and delete records.
I then created a simple static html page and embedded the same form in the static page using the advanced settings . I can add and change records on the form but if I click delete on the browse although the message asking if I want to delete comes up and I click yes the record is not deleted.
Are there any workarounds.

try example 47 (Pages) and see if you can duplicate the effect in that.
If not you'll need to post an example so we can see what's different.

Bruce I duplicated the effect in example 47. I added a delete button to the browse and if I press delete the delete confiirmation message appears but the record is not deleted.
