I'm building a server for acquiring and displaying data from IoT sensors. My problem is that IoT sensors are sending their data on different port than users who are browsing that acquired data. Users are accessing over port 80 and IoT sensors are using 10001 port.

How to do this with one application?

Thanks Stu and Bruce I'll give a try to UDP communication although I am not sure that this is UDP communication. When I look in documentation UDP is not mention. In my application I am using NetSimple as a client. It works but with various success.

Sending is by default with no error. Device receive what I send. But receiving is mostly with errors "Connection closed by Remote Machine"

I have request to read and send data to IoT device. There is no classic connection, just IP and Port and sending and receiving packets are randomly initiated.
What option for that kind of communication is the best in NetTalk tools? Server, client, neither?

How to achieve this kind of communication?

I want to create api server. I need NetWebServiceMethod to return either whole dataset or subset from view of records but I do not know how to do that.
Database is ODBC.

I had similar problem and it was related to some JS problems. It was hard to trace it and try to solve it with developer options in firefox.

From various reasons I did not upgrade my applications from NetTalk 8 to NetTalk 9 until now.

I was careful and did not kill version build in NT8 so I can compare NT8 with NT9.

Reading  app file went OK. Generating went Ok. Compiling went Ok. Running went Ok until I finished with LoginPage and tried to access IndexPage.

After that I received lot of crap on my browser totaly unreadeble. I believe that I am missing something but I can not figure out what is wrong in my source cause NT8 version with no changes stil works wel.
