Installing KB4345424 resolved the problem and it has now run for >36 hours without requiring a reboot.

I'm running Windows Server 2012 R2 (not Server 2012).
In the last month it has the following updates KB4338419, kb4338424, kb4338605, kb4338613, kb4338824, kb4339093, kb4338815. So I don't have the particular update you're referring to.
Note - suppossedly KB4338830 issues were resolved with KB4338816.
Have you tried installing KB4338816? Did you find it fixed the issue for you?
Being on Server 2012R2 I found that KB4338824 (Win2012R2) is equivalent of KB4338816 (Win2012) that you mentioned. And supposedly the issues are fixed for R2 in KB4345424.
I am installing KB4345424 to see if that resolves the issue.

No. Not updating any blobs in this case.
I had to restart the server again. It ran about 8 hours before requiring a restart.
I checked memory before, and 2GB free, so that wasn't an issue.
I ran TCPVIEW and that didn't show anything on port 4550. But it continued to give error 10048.
On another not e- I did notice another nettalk server program on the same machine (not the program I'm having error 10048 with) had lost the PORT setting in the program.serversettings.xml.
I restored the value in the XML, restarted that program, and that is now working again.
But I never had a problem with this program before EITHER.
As part of troubleshooting I have updated to the latest NETTALK from the website.
So I am running a later version than I was previously.
Still stuck. But going to sleep now. The server can just wait if it gets stuck again

I have a nettalk server (mostly REST API methods) which has worked well for +1 year.
Without having changed anything (apart from windows updates on the VM) it now intermittently doesn't work.
After a server restart, it works correctly, but then several hours later it STOPS.
I have put the capesoft example WEB9 on the same server, and this is running fine, before and after the restart.
Web9 is using local TPS, whereas my WEBAPI is using MSSQL to a network SQL server.
When it stops working the SERVER LOG repeatedly shows these two lines:
Listening on IP Port: 4550
ERROR: 10048 Unable to Listen on TCP Port 4550
Any ideas?

Perhaps add a #DISPLAY at that point which notes that a case-insensitive sort is done of the full ORDER statement.
It's easy to override in source WHEN I remember what the problem is.
A small note in the template reminding what is happening will help.

It appears that all my child browses are sorting/filtering properly.
But any browse without a parent browse, is mostly not working at all, or only sometimes working.

I've been using the latest PR31 version, and have been having some browse problems.
If I click on a col to sort, the busy indicator shows in the bottom left corner, but it NEVER stops. If I refresh the page the browse does now show the new sort order.
Similarly, if I enter a locator, it does nothing until I refresh the page, then it locates on the field.
I've tested on both IE7 and FF3.0.6.
I've ensured the scripts folder exactly match that in the \clarion6\3rdparty\libsrc\netweb\web folder.
I've cleared all the cache.
But ... I still have this problem. I am using MSSQL2005.
But I have 1 browse which is working (as a child of the parent).
Is this a problem in PR31 or is it just me?
What else can I try to fix it?

I set the order on my drop list to be "-ShCom:CompanyActive,+ShCom:CompanyName", and the generated line was
filter:id_company_maxtel_OptionView{prop:order} = 'UPPER(-ShCom:CompanyActive,+ShCom:CompanyName)'
I was able to override in the following embed point to:
filter:id_company_maxtel_OptionView{prop:order} = '-ShCom:CompanyActive,+ShCom:CompanyName'
But the templates incorrectly wrap UPPER() around all fields.

I think Kevin's question (and mine) is can we get the multi-select drop to re-display the selections if the form is reloaded.
e.g. The user enters a form, and selects 3 out of 10 items from the drop down list.
This returns a variable with a string ";|;ID1;|;ID2;|;ID3 ....".
But if I reopen the form with the same variable, the multi-select list shows ZERO items selected. A normal drop list shows the item that was selected.
Can the multi-select show the items that were selected last time?

It's based on web 21 (Browse in Form).
There is a new option "Test" on the menu.
This opens a form with 3 tabs.
Change to the 2nd tab "Browse Countries".
Press the change button on browse row 3, then press SAVE on the form.
The TestTabs form is reloaded with the 1st tab selected, not the 2nd tab.

How do I use multi-select on DROP lists?
Is there an example provided?
I want the admin person to select which of a set of branches a user is allowed to view. I thought the "multi-select" might be just the trick.
