Hi all
Got a problem with the netTalk option of taking a webcam photo
It works OK from and on a local machine using a USB webcam
However, when running from an Amazon server on line via a browser, no photo is taken, the webcam camera is not activated on the User machine or on an ipad
Bruce helped some months ago adding a setting to netTalk webcam tab to be able to choose the camera ie front or back ( User or Environment) - I have set on user
When the "Take Photo button is pushed, activity can be seen in the logging tab of the app locally, but again not when run on the server.
It has been working but I would like to believe something has happened in the upgrade to NT 11.44
Are there any immediate solutions?
Thanks
Regards,
Richard

Your server needs to be secure (SSL)

Thanks Alberto,
Yes, it is a secure app.
The issue was I believe, my using Chrome Browser on the ipad
When I ran in Safari, the photo was taken as expected.
Thanks for replying

Hi Richard,
Can you give some insights as to how you take a photo with Android or Iphone and send to Net Talk Application - or use Net Talk Application to take photo with these devices?
Many thanks,
Ron Jolda

See, I think, WebCam example Ron.
The file upload field can also be set to receive just images, in which case the user can take a photo (or select a photo from her gallery) to upload.
cheers
