If I activate the locator it works in every column.
I need some columns to be soted but not located.
Any way?
Another issue is that when I sort by a column the locator is activated and it still activated no matter what I do.
Any way of hide the locator when by example you reload the page?

I could add a Locate Type "None" to the column. That would make it possible to explicitly turn off the locator for some columns.
I'm not sure I understand what you mean by the second question - perhaps some screen-shots would help there?
cheers

Please adad the "None" its very usefull for numeric fields that needs to be sorted but not located
What I mean in my 2nd Q is that the first time I enter the brows the locator does not shows, when I click in a column header it is shown, ok, but when I go to another page and return the locator is still there wich takes space.
It will be better tat when we enter a browse the locator only inhides when its needed and...
taking about the new "None" disappear when you sort a column with "none"
Thanks

Hi Alberto,
>> Please adad the "None" its very usefull for numeric fields that needs to be sorted but not located
added in the 10.21 build.
>> the first time I enter the brows the locator does not shows
If your default sort order does not match any column sort, then the locator does not display. This is because the locator is matched to the column being sorted.
Aside: it's usual to match your default sort order to one of the column orders, using the Sort tab for that column, "this column is the default sort order" option.
>> when I click in a column header it is shown, ok,
yes, once you are sorting using a column sort order the locator appears;
>> when I go to another page and return the locator is still there
because the sort order the user was on is remembered.
>> It will be better tat when we enter a browse the locator only inhides when its needed
how will we know it is needed? How will the user know to make it needed?
cheers
