Hi Guys,
I have a run-time custom filter in a NetWebBrowse which the user can set at will.
At times the user select a year or criteria for which there is no records in the NWB.
Is there a way to include a button in the NWB for the user to clear the filter (session value)?
I am using the 'change' button / form for the user to set the filter values. However, the 'change' button is not available for zero records in the browse.

Hi Rupert,
so presumably the browse is on a form, along with other fields that let the user set the filter?
or are you talking about a browse locator field?
cheers
Bruce

Thanks Bruce,
I have a NetWebBrowse procedure and using a NetWebForm to apply the filter for the browse.
The form is not making any record changes, it is a memory form and used for applying the filter.
The user has a selection of filter options on the form, clicks Save (Apply) to set the filter.
The problem I have is to clear the filter (session value), if the user had applied a filter resulting into zero records in the NWB.

>> clicks Save (Apply) to set the filter.
That sounds wrong. I'd just have a button on the form that resets the (embedded browse.)
and another button on the form that clears the locator.
Come to the User Group today and we can chat through this.
cheers
