Title: Export Data being Truncated to 50 Chars
Post by: Neil Porter on April 30, 2014, 02:44:29 AM
I'm using the new Export button feature, which is great, but I have quite a long address field that I need to export, and it is being truncated to 50 chars in the export xml file.

Is there a setting that I'm missing?

Not sure if it makes any difference, but this is a display field that is made up of several other fields concatenated together.

Regards,

Neil.

Hi Robert,

I got the same effect on Wednesday as it happens - but then on Thursday could not repeat it. So I suspect something in the class cache was affecting it. I have made a new xFiles build anyway, with some extra stuff in it, but I don't think that will affect NetTalk usage.

I suspect today it'll work fine for you - even without the update...

cheers
Bruce

Hi Robert/Bruce
After tonight's webinar I went into my Clarion 10 system and tried example78
I got the same errors as you did.
My setup at that point was NT842,StringTheory219 and XFiles262
So I thought I would work backwards to where I know the export works
I then reinstalled XFiles261 and export works.
Robert
If you don't have 261 I have the .saf copy if you want it.

Let me see if I can duplicate....

yes, it seems it was added in 2.62 - I've identified the problem change and changed it back. 2.64 is available. Thanks for the effort guys.

cheers
