Title: NT7.34 Contract\Expand Browse Row problem

Hi Bruce

I upgrade to NT7.34 and found that when I expand a browse row now it is making the browse wider than the original Header and move of the screen. Previously the browse with stayed the same width and you could still see the contract and expand button. Now I must scroll from right to left to see everything in the browse.

Is there a setting to correct this problem that i don't know about.

Hi johan,

you don't say what you were upgrading _from_ - probably useful in this context.
I'm not aware of anything changing, but I definitely would expect columns to resize as needed - that's what browsers do in html in the absence of specific css rules to the contrary.
you can change the behavior with css - setting max-widths and so on.

Hi Bruce

I upgrade from 7.31

Please find 2 attachments showing the Contract and expand problem. The After attachment will show you that the browse on the left hand side is now longer than the Header. In 7.31 the browse was the same width as the header and the columns auto re-size to fit.

NT 7.34 I am getting the same problem when adding more columns to a browse. Please see attached image

Hi Johan,

I think an example is necessary. I'm not at all sure I understand the problem yet. But regardless of that I'd need an example to inspect to determine the cause.

I use Example 28 and add 3 columns to the browse. It is doing the same thing as I explained with the screen shots. The browse is going of the screen and is now longer than the header. Previously the browse width stays the same as the Header width and the columns in the browse re-size to fit in the width of the browse. There is a scroll bar now to scroll left and right, to move the browse.
