Title: New File Upload HTML5
Post by: terryd on October 08, 2013, 01:36:49 AM
NTWS7.25
I check the Use Advanced uploader HTML5 and check the Only allow 1 upload
In operation I click on the add file button (1.jpg)and select a file. Having selected the file an Add File button still appears(2.jpg). If this is clicked it allows you to select another file relacing the existing selected file but,  I think, leading a user to be believe that another file will be uploaded whereas only the last file selected will be uploaded.
Am I reading this correctly or should the add file button not display once a file has been selected for upload if the Only allow 1 upload box is checked?

am I correct (from memory) - the add button is still there - while allows you to select another file instead of the first one? ie the second "add" does not add a second file, it replaces the first file with another file.

cheers

Yes thats right. The problem with that is that the user does not know that, he assumes that the add allows him to add a new file, not replace it.
Maybe the answer is being able to change the second add text with Replace?

I'm thinking rather to put the text as "Select File" rather than "Add File" ?
