Title: file drop down list

Please please can someone help all my dropdown list box discription field has stopped working.
I had a code in the decrition field to be something like :Clip(firstname)&' '&Clip(lastname)
and now they all just come up blank.

The after servral tries i then just added lastname this works but i need it to show both first and last name.
