Title: pdf reports going funny on server

Hi all I have a pdf report which when I generate from my development pc it works ok but when I put it on the server it goes landscape, print off the page, could this just be because there is no printer attached to server?

Possibly. 

I think I remember there was such a problem with one of the versions of Windows.
Try installing a printer from the drivers supplied with Windows, even if none is physically connected to the server.   

When I get a new computer, this is one of the things I ensure I do before I start using the computer.

yes, it's related to the Printers installed on the server machine.

And if you run the server as a service, make sure the printer is installed to the "user" that the service is using.

Thanks bruce and jeff, attached a printer to machine and that sorted the problem.
