Title: Recommed PDF Tools for Web Reports!

Hi,

I am using Clarion 8 Professional, so it doesn't come with any PDF tools. As I know, I got two options, one is  SV PDF tool (USD199) and  PDF-Tools SDK, from Tracker Software (USD599).

Can anyone advice on these, for the value and money. And which one is easier to implement?

Do we have any sample website can show how the report works?

I recommend PDF-Tools from Tracker. You definitly get what you pay for here - its a LOT better than the SV one. In every respect.

We've got a bunch of sites with reports, but I don't think you can get to them without logging in. Maybe someone has one that you can get to publically.

There's not much to see - you get a PDF file, typically opened in the browser.

Get PDF-Tools.
You won't regret it.
Smaller PDF's, Faster PDF generation,  Excellent Support, No Errors, No Hassles, Continous Development/Enhancements, Excellent Templates, Enought options to keep everyone happy.

Tested PDF-Tools from Tracker, works great.

But I tried it with FominReportBuilder, it doesn't works.

Bruce, do you have (or can include) example that working with FRB?

Hi Nelson,

unfortunately I don't have an FRB example - I'm a RightReports user.

Does the Tracker work in a "windows" report? ie if you add PDF-Tools to a normal Clarion app, can you convert your reports to PDF?

Hi Nelson,

I use FRB and PDF-Tools exclusively in my all Win32 apps and they work perfect.

However I could never get FRB and PDF-Tools to work with NT therefore I must use the normal Clarion Reports in NT.

I agree, It would be nice if we could get an example of how to use FRB and PDF-Tools with NT.
