Title: Application Icon
Post by: MHof on May 09, 2012, 03:46:56 PM
Hi Guys,

Hopefully an easy question. How do I get an icon to display when the end-user runs the NT application.
As per screenshot, there is just a blank square.
Also, how can you change the text, so it displays something useful.

Thanks,

Marcel

Marcel,

You will have to create a favicon.ico file and place it in the \web folder, then it will show in the browser tab or URL section.

There are quite a few sites out there where you can upload a GIF or PNG and it will convert it to a favicon.ico file for you.  Or else you can create one from scratch.  One site I've used is: http://www.favicon.cc/

Also, if you give your web pages a <title> then they will be shown on the tabs, instead of the URL.

Cheers,
Devan
