Any way to have just a comment span cell with field, not the prompt?

Comments end up in a cell on the far right if one field is long (like a text field). Spanning causes the prompt, field, and comment to bunch up on the left, but is there a way to click a box to to let the comment span with just the field and not the prompt? If not, an enhancement?

there's no switch for this at the moment.
I'll put it on the list though for consideration - I'll need to think about it a bit. Sometimes the "easy" things turn out to be "not so easy" <g>
