Title: SSL Page not found
Post by: kevin plummer on April 11, 2011, 06:11:36 PM
I have a couple of Mac users where they can hit my web app with SSL turned off but not with it turned on. Other users (inc Mac Users) can hit the app from different locations/networks so the SSL works but not from all locations.

I have reset my DNS but still no go.

Anyone have any idea's? I'm not running on the default secure port 443. Would it be their firewall?

Cheers,

Kev

Hi Kevin,

sounds like it must be on their end.
Firewall would be a probability I guess - although having it blocking SSL sites seems strange.
Do they get any kind of error?

cheers
Bruce

I swapped the app to listen on 443 and the user was able to connect so the firewall must be blocking SSL on other ports.

Cheers,

Kev

It's probably blocking the ports period.
