Title: Changing the look of xhtml editor

hello everyone how do i modify the look of the editor, i have a black background so i need the editor to standout clear and inside the text box can not be white because some of my txt that i am going to be editing is in color white so i am unable to see them and is their a way to switch between plain txt and html ?
