Title: Firefox, Internet Explorer 9 issues

Howzit,

My app works fine when run in Internet Explorer 7 and 8 and now that I upgraded to NT5.15, Google Chrome as well.

But some odd behaviour from Firefox (and apparently Internet Explorer 9).  Go here:

When logged in, go to Qeury -> Policies, then select Active and click on Find.

I'll leave it open until somebody can shed some light.

ok, I did that.
No aliens landed.
No snow-storms appeared on the horizon.
The internet in Eqypt turned off, but perhaps that was co-incidental.

so what "odd behaviour" are you observing?

I'm not sure what you're expecting to happen I guess.

Uhm, yes.

It's a Form Browse and the options is the Filter.  So I go to a browse showing some records and buttons in the Explorers that work.  In Firefox nothing happens.

So yeah, I guess you have to go the the site using Explorer 7 or 8 to see that something is happening, then with Firefox to see nothing happens.  The code is obviously the same.

Hi Charl,

It appears FF doesn't like the window.open syntax, then _self is the target. I've made a tweak to NetTalk for the 5.16 build which should take care of this.

Hi Bruce,

I am now using NT5.20, and now it does not work for IE8 anymore.  Still does not work for FireFox.  Incidentally, where I have the Form Browse Combo that uses filters that do not hide the Browse it works. 

(Which kind of make me think you did not change the way the Filters work or something.)

I am sure you can remember this one so I am not going to bother to put it on a server again.

Please help as halve the app is now broken.

Sounds like a completely different issue.
so perhaps start a new thread explaining this issue, and if necessary post an example or a link to the site.
