Will NTW5 have popup windows for lookup?
Thanks

Hi Alberto,
I'd like to add this yes, but there are some technical hurdles to overcome.
I think jQuery makes it a lot easier though.

Bruce,
I have a new project in which this option is really important.
I need to know if you have any time frame about it.
I want to use NT5 to do it but if I dont have this feature I will be forced to move to .Net
Thanks

You could possibly already do it yourself. I code my own lookups because I like to call a form with a browse embedded in it rather than just calling the browse. I have also added a JQuery hotkey class so I can use Function keys to invoke my lookups.
I found an interesting article that may help.
http://www.yourhtmlsource.com/javascript/popupwindows.html
I'm going to have a try and will report back.

It should be in PR12 Alberto, so not long to wait.

Thanks Alberto - I quite like it myself.

Indeed, this looks very nice. However I think I may have found a bug with this.
I have selected the value field to be something other than the ID. Still it returns me the ID of the lookup table. When I do not use the popup lookup but use the same browse/table in a traditional lookup then I get the other value field I am counting on.
Am I doing something wrong or is it a bug?
Cheers!
